Sicily

IMG_1858

I decided to do this post alone because visiting Sicily transformed my holiday escapade into another unforgettable adventure.

Sicily is the largest  Island in the Mediterranean Sea and a great get away place.I am not a fan of sea food but I learnt to appreciate it as the local cuisine there so I made it my mission to try out pasta with clams and Sea urchins which turned out to be very delightful. So We stayed in Erice,a small town right at the top of the mountain crowned by a very beautiful castle so you can imagine for me,the big draw up there was the sea and landscape views which were simply Breath-taking.The cable-car down the mountain was exceptional and we  enjoyed the ridiculously beautiful sights set out before us.My aunt and I got a chance to attend our very first Italian wedding where we caught the most magical sunsets and again devoured more interesting Sicilian meals. .Here are the few pictures I managed to capture.
