“Cheers to salty beach hair, tan skin,flip-flops and sandy toes” -Author Unknown
I think my all-time favourite beach quote above does today’s prelude good justice because who doesn’t love what the beach does to them? From the cold refreshing breeze in the morning and the long walks on shell tips along the shoreline to the beautiful sounds made rhythmically by the crushing waves in the evening.Simply My kind of Paradise!!It was great escaping the Nairobi weather for a few days because I really enjoyed the hot sun In Mombasa.Adrian and I went Jet skiing for the first time which he won but the experience was just thrilling and we both killed it.Marine life is also interesting but I am too scared of gooey, crawling creatures so that was not my best area as a local tourist. If you follow me on snapchat then you saw how I ran for my life when I saw what outwardly looked like a snake but was told later it was just a sea worm(my body cringed already).
Although being too lazy to wake up to chase the sun rise during the first days,I took it upon myself to set an alarm and catch it on the last day!All I can say is,that was the most beautiful sun rise I have ever witnessed and I managed to take pictures of the ocean glistening and reflecting those Morning rays.Whoever said you can never have too much beach time was too accurate because beach please!I can’t wait to go back.
